RHS Welcomes You to Parents’ Night Please join us on March 2nd to learn about registering your student for high school. A schedule for the evening is below. Dinner is free for the whole family, and there will be childcare provided as well as student performances and student work on display. 5:30 – 6:15 dinner in the commons 6:15 – 6:30 child care check-in in the lower gym 6:30 – 6:40 welcome in the gym 6:45 – 7:30 registration information session 7:35 – 7:55 breakout session - choose a topic Breakout sessions will be hosted by experts and discussion topics will include college information, tips on communicating with your teen, high school graduation requirements, how to recognize substance abuse, how to support your gifted and talented student, and lots more. Valentine Grams
GT students will be selling Valentine Grams beginning on Thursday and through next Wednesday in the lunchroom. You can send a chocolate bar or an orange crush along with a message to your special person for $2.00. You can send a chocolate bar and an orange crush for $3.00. Parents can contact the office to place a surprise order for your child. Please pass this message on to other parents that might be interested.

Now through Christmas we are collecting small items to send to soldiers. Our goal is to collect and send 800 pounds of these items. A list of what the soldiers need is below.
We also need your help to raise money for postage. We are taking a collection of pennies and nickels. The class who collects the most pennies will get to shave Mr. Bostic’s beard, and the class who collects the most nickels will get to shave his head. All penny and nickel collections need to be in by December 11th.
Please help us support our soldiers who are deployed overseas during the holidays. Thank you.

6th Grade: 41 cans
7th Grade: 7 cans
8th Grade: 234 cans!!!!
The winning 5/6 class was Mrs. Williams.
And the winning 7/8 class was Mr. Braspenninx's class.
